Established in 1922, The Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce Executives (OCCE) association is the only organization in the state dedicated to training and the ongoing professional development of chamber professionals. The primary goal of OCCE is to serve its membership by providing quality professional development and continuing education opportunities for local chambers of commerce, their staff, and board members. OCCE membership consists of more than 120 local chamber executives and staff from across the state.
OCCE leadership is provided by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of highly skilled Chamber of Commerce professionals from across the state of Oklahoma. Under the leadership of this group, OCCE strives to encourage the highest professional standards for the men and women in chamber of commerce management and to advance close unity among its members. Through a unique partnership with the State Chamber of Oklahoma, OCCE is provided an executive director, additional staff, and office & meeting space to support our shared goals.
Conferences, Board training and workshops held throughout the year provide opportunities for exchanging ideas and networking with fellow local chamber executives, staff and volunteer board members.
Scholarships are available to OCCE members for the following events: OCCE’s Annual Conference, Chamber Management Institute (CMI), Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence (CCCE), MAKO regional conference, US Chamber Institute.
Members of OCCE have access to technical assistance and resources on a variety of topics including board development training, strategic planning, and resources for operational excellence.
OCCE members receive discounts on OCCE training and events.
OCCE members provide valuable guidance and share ideas with each other to continually improve and grow their chambers.
OCCE recognizes individuals doing great things in their own communities with four prestigious awards each year: the New Executive of the Year, Outstanding Chamber Leader, and the Shelia Lee Executive of the Year award.
