Nate McCalla

Founder & Certified Guide, Alabaster Advisors

A 20-year MedTech veteran, I held roles ranging from Marketing, Sales, Sales Management, Strategic Sales, and Sales Leadership. Since 2008 I have had the pleasure to lead teams across 4 different businesses at a preeminent MedTech organization. Investing in talent and intentionally building emerging leaders, strategically accelerating the onboarding of new team members, and aligning everyone towards meaningful goals are cornerstones for leaders of impact.

My story of personal development has taken a very unique path, I have begun incorporating the leadership programs from GiANT Worldwide, becoming a Certified Guide in their amazing content. The Chikly Institute was where I found Heart Centered Therapy, learning techniques for tuning into the Wisdom of the Heart. I have also completed PSYCH-K Facilitator coursework to learn about the impact of our subconscious mind, and how to identify limiting beliefs that create unhealthy patterns in our lives, then redesign them with new positive and emotionally meaningful beliefs.

I have also enjoyed spending time giving back to my communities, including being a mentor at my alma mater, Oklahoma State University. I have also served my ward as a City Councilmen, plus served as Board Chair for the local YMCA, along with leading a team within our church. I am in the process of building out a mentoring program for our local organization that assists the homeless within our community.

Working to integrate these tools with my previous experiences will be a perpetual journey, for which I am grateful and committed to pursue!

I was born and raised in Chickasha, OK. I have lived in Texas, Michigan, and Chicago throughout my career. I have traveled for all of my career, and traveling to connect with clients continues to be an option I offer. My wife and I are excited to be back home in Oklahoma raising our 2 wonderful kids.

McFerron brings more than 35 years of election, grassroots, lobbying, and voter opinion research experience to help CMA clients win both at the ballot box and in the legislature.

McFerron cut his campaign teeth in the once reliably Democratic parts of Oklahoma.  He was intricately involved, either directly, through the state party, or through an independent expenditure, in every Republican takeover in the Oklahoma State House and State Senate from 1994 through 2008, when both chambers became Republican controlled for the first time in state history.   This net change of more than 50 legislative seats ushered in a new era of leadership in Oklahoma, and McFerron remains at the forefront.

In addition to being CMA’s point person on messaging and strategic planning, McFerron serves as President of Cole Hargrave Snodgrass & Associates, a nationally recognized survey research company that has worked in more than 40 states.

All totaled, McFerron has worked with multiple Presidential campaigns as well as more than 80 successful U.S. Senate, gubernatorial, and congressional campaigns, over 150 winning legislative races, and more than a dozen statewide or major city mayor victories.  In addition, he has been involved in 87 triumphant local ballot initiatives and more than 20 successful state ballot questions and constitutional amendments.

A William Randolph Hearst Scholar who graduated summa cum laude from Oklahoma City University and attended graduate school at The American University, McFerron has two adult children and has been married to Sharon, a nationally certified teacher, for 32 years.

Carleeta Nelson

Carleeta Nelson

Arbonne Executive National Vice President

Carleeta grew up in poverty in the small town of Gracemont, Oklahoma, but her circumstances didn’t define her future. She graduated as valedictorian of her high school and went on to pursue her passion for healthcare, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1989.

After starting her career at the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma, Carleeta continued her education at the University of Oklahoma, earning a Master’s in Nursing Science in 1993, specializing in pediatric hematology oncology. During that time, she helped launch the hospital’s pediatric bone marrow transplant program, which continues to thrive today.

In 1997, Carleeta transitioned to primary care pediatrics in Norman, Oklahoma, focusing on supporting children’s health from a more holistic perspective. Alongside her medical career, in 2003, she began a new venture as an independent consultant for Arbonne International.

Her entrepreneurial journey took off quickly. She became the fastest to earn the Arbonne company car in just 4½ months and reached the top of the company in only 19 months. For a time, she balanced both her nursing career and Arbonne, but in 2004, Carleeta retired from nursing to focus fully on building my Arbonne business.

Today, she dedicates her time helping others flourish, guiding people to reach their potential in both personal and professional endeavors. It’s been an incredible journey, and she is excited to share more of her experiences with you today.
